Whole Kid School understands that each child develops at their own unique pace.
Our team of qualified teachers strive daily to provide each child with developmentally appropriate activities. We work to create a strong bond with each of our students to ensure they feel supported, respected and acknowledged.
We also form partnerships with our student’s families to ensure they have the tools necessary for their child to thrive at home also.
Lastly, each of our Whole Kid School students are taught to have a strong sense of self, empathy and awareness through a loving kindness practice.
Our co-founder, Michelle, aka “Teacher Shell” began Whole Kid School, formerly known as Wund3rSchool, in 2018. As a Bay Area native, she grew up in a home with her parents, sister, grandmother and aunt. The bonds that were created in this family sparked her drive to make a difference and encouraged her to create a close bond with others, especially children. She worked as a nanny in the South Bay and Peninsula for 10+ years. During this time, she also achieved her B.A. in Child Development at SJSU. Her direct experience and knowledge about children has aided her towards achieving her goal to open an early childhood program for ages 0-6 years-old.
Our co-founder, Plamen, was also inspired to begin Whole Kid School after opening Wund3rkid, an indoor play space in Palo Alto. He holds a BA in Business Management from SJSU. Plamen enjoys interactions with our students and families. He also strives daily to ensure our school operating needs are met.
As husband and wife, Michelle and Plamen are passionate about Whole Kid School! In their spare time, they enjoy treasured moments with family, friends and play with their 2 young children.
